Anniversary 1967 Pinot Grigio – Torri Cantine 13%
Sensory notes
Colour: crystal-clear straw yellow with beautiful golden reflections and a magnificent texture.
Nose: intense and very fragrant, with energetic fruity and floral scents of apricot, peach, citrus, acacia, jasmine.
Taste: a good freshness, supported by an intense sapidity, mitigated by a rebalancing warmth and softness. In tune with the nose and a long, mineral finish.
Harvest
Born in the well-known Terre d’Abruzzo from an old vineyard, trained by the Guyot method, in one of the most important wine-growing areas, characterised by an invaluable temperature range and magnificent exposure.
A magnificent Pinot Grigio obtained from a harvest in the third ten days of August, rigorously manual, which guarantees maximum respect for the surrounding environment.
Vinification
A white wine vinification, carried out exclusively in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by 6 months of refinement, also in steel vats, and then bottling in the total absence of oxygen.
How to pair our wine Anniversario 1967 – Pinot grigio IGT
A wine to be served chilled, on 6-8 degrees maximum with aperitifs, hors d’oeuvres, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white meats and fresh or medium-aged cheeses. We imagine it with fresh salmon and robiola rolls, risotto with taleggio cheese, chicken breasts with mushrooms and bamboo, but also with a very simple ricotta and spinach pie.
