Sensory notes
Colour: A ruby red, almost impenetrable, with interesting purple reflections when young.
Nose: The nose reveals an interesting bouquet of red flowers, violets and carnation, which are well matched with a hint of blackberries, plums and sour cherries, supported by subtle balsamic notes.
Taste: Intense and persistent, consistent with the nose, it is characterised by the right warmth and a nice softness following, in magnificent harmony with the soft and proportionate tannins, supported by a good freshness and an interesting mineral finish.
Harvest
Born in one of the most vocated areas of Abruzzo, from an old vineyard trained to Tendone, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure.
A Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC obtained from a harvest in the first ten days of October, strictly manual, from a certified organic agriculture, which ensures maximum respect for the surrounding environment.
Vinification
A vinification in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by a malolactic fermentation and a subsequent maturation of 6 months in cement tanks before being bottled in the total absence of oxygen.

J’ai déjà acheté ce même vin (même conditionnement en cubi) en 2022. Et je dois relever que l’édition 2022 était nettement supérieure, bien que l’édition 2024 ne démérite pas.
Le vin est plutôt bon mais moins homogène et harmonieux que par le passé. S’y glisse quelques notes peu agréables venant altérer le fruité suave de l’ensemble. Dommage!
