Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Wine – Bag in Tube – Torri Cantine
Sensory notes
Colour: Intense ruby red with delicate violet nuances and a nice consistency.
Nose: The nose releases elegant and intense floral and fruity notes, with the characteristic scents of rose petals, violet, blackberry and plum.
Taste: The palate reveals perceptions consistent with the nose, with evidence of black cherry, spice and cocoa, supported by the necessary freshness well connected to tannins that are never overbearing and in balance with a warmth and a seductive softness. The delicately almondy finish is magnificent.
Harvest
Born in one of the most vocated areas of Abruzzo, from an ancient vineyard trained to Tendone, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure.
A Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC obtained from a strictly manual harvest in the first ten days of October, from a certified organic agriculture, which ensures the utmost respect for the surrounding environment.
Vinification
It is vinified in thermo-conditioned steel vats, and once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine matures for 5 months in cement vats, and then continues to mature for a further 5 months in large 50hl Slavonian oak barrels to finally proceed to fill the bag in the total absence of oxygen.
