They taste secrets &#8220;<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Salvador Dali<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">These words by the well-known painter and artist of Surrealism best introduce the best known white of the Rosarubra estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.torricantine.co.uk\/product\/rosarubra-triluna-igt\/\">Triluna<\/a>: a fascinating, almost mysterious name that evokes sensations of curiosity and amazement in our mind. This wine is born from a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon and aromatic Malvasia grapes late harvested manually. This particular blend, made up of international vines and therefore not typically Abruzzo, represents the peculiarity of this wine which stands out for its perfect balance between acidity and softness with hints projected towards exotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">But before delving into the more specific characteristics of this wine, let&#8217;s get to know these three grape varieties a little more in depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Origins and characteristics of Chardonnay<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Chardonnay is a grape that originates in France, originally from Burgundy, where its most prestigious and famous wines come from, and from here it spread to become one of the most cultivated white grape varieties in the world. The incredible variety of aromatic components that Chardonnay gives to wines emerges in different ways depending on the soils and climates where it is grown, thus making the tasting of its wines an ever new experience. It is particularly used in sparkling wines produced with the Classic Method (Franciacorta, Trento DOC and Champagne) but from its grapes it is possible to obtain still wines with a high alcohol content and rather high acidity. The color of the wine is not particularly intense straw yellow, the characteristic perfume is delicate and fruity (tropical fruit, pineapple in particular), the taste is elegant and harmonious. When aged it takes on notes of dried fruit. It is particularly suitable for aging in barriques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sauvignon: grape variety, wine and characteristics<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The Sauvignon grape together with Chardonnay is the most widespread and famous white grape variety in the world, and from it we obtain some of the most well-known and sought-after white wines. It is a grape of French origin, and to be precise, its cradle is the Loire Valley. Its name derives from &#8220;sauvage&#8221; (wild) so the etymology would correspond to that of our Lambrusco (from the Latin &#8220;vitis labrusca&#8221;, ie wild), with which there is in fact some distant affinity. It is a semi-aromatic grape variety, and its recognition is usually immediate with its characteristic notes of gooseberry, nettles, moss and boxwood as well as elderberry and tomato leaf. The taste has a great freshness, good structure and pseudo-caloric sensations with persistent vegetal hints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Malvasia grape and the characteristics of its wine<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The term &#8220;Malvasia&#8221; derives from a contracted variation of Monembasia, a Byzantine stronghold located on the rocks of a promontory located south of the Peloponnese, where sweet wines were produced which were then exported throughout Europe by the Venetians under the name of Monemvasia. The name Malvasia indicates many vines, most of them white berried, geographically distributed throughout Italy. Although of different origins, all these vines share some basic characteristics: in fact they all present, even if with different degrees of intensity, a spicy fragrance of musk and apricot and rather high sugar residues. These characteristics make the grape varieties of the Malvasie group particularly suitable for the production of sparkling wines and passito wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Triluna I.G.T. &#8211; Hills of Pescara<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.torricantine.com\/en\/product\/triluna-igt-colline-pescaresi-white-075l\/\">Triluna <\/a>of the Rosarubra comes from a particular blend consisting of Chardonnay, Sauvignon and aromatic Malvasia. The grapes are selected and late harvested towards the end of September and thanks to the optimal exposure of the vineyards, the clones and the age of the vines this wine represents the right combination between the fruit of Chardonnay and the elegance that distinguishes the Sauvignon Blanc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The vinification takes place exclusively in thermo-conditioned steel vats at a temperature of 12 \u00b0 C. After an aging period of about 8 months, it is bottled in the complete absence of oxygen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Obtained from biodynamic agriculture, it has an intense straw yellow color with seductive golden reflections, decidedly consistent and with a good structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The nose has a rather complex bouquet that reveals a mix of floral aromas with references to ripe fruit, exotic notes and honey, all characterized by a perfect balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Its power is also released in the mouth, presenting a fresh, rich and pulpy palate.
