Wine Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG RISERVA Torri Turàn
Sensory notes
Colour: Typical impenetrable ruby colour, with slight garnet reflections on the rim and a magnificent consistency.
Nose: Introduces vigorous floral notes and fruit jam, violets, coffee, cocoa, in a persuasive habitat of toasting.
Taste: Warm and soft on the palate, with a well-balanced understanding of freshness and gentle, round tannins. The scents, in harmony with the nose, honour us with ripe blackberry, undergrowth, spices, pepper and tobacco, with a delicately mineral finish.
Harvest
Born in one of the most vocated areas of Abruzzo, from an ancient vineyard trained to Tendone, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure.
A Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG RISERVA obtained from a harvest in the last ten days of October, strictly manual, of a certified organic agriculture, which ensures the utmost respect for the surrounding environment.
Vinification
A vinification in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by a malolactic fermentation, a 6 months maturation in cement tanks, then 30 months in 50hl barrels, to be bottled in total absence of oxygen and aged for at least 8 months.
