Bakán Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC Torri
Sensory Notes
Color: A very bright cherry pink with an interesting texture.
Nose: Intense floral and fruity aromas of geranium, clove, cherry, and raspberry.
Taste: A dry, flavorful sip with a beautiful freshness and delicate salinity in perfect balance with moderate warmth and refined sweetness.
The taste, in perfect harmony with the nose, adds nuances of strawberry and blueberry that anticipate a long and delicate mineral finish.
Vintage
It comes from one of the most renowned areas in Abruzzo, from an old vineyard grown on pergolas, at an ideal altitude ensuring an impressive temperature range and a wonderful exposure.
A Cerasuolo obtained from a harvest in the third decade of September, rigorously hand-picked, within the framework of certified organic farming, ensuring the greatest respect for the environment.
Vinification
A white vinification, carried out in thermo-conditioned steel tanks, and after the necessary rest on the skins, follows a 4-month aging in cement tanks, before being bottled under complete oxygen exclusion.
Food and Wine Pairing with our Bakán Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC
Rosé wine generally has the extraordinary characteristic of being able to be paired with almost any dish and can certainly be enjoyed on any occasion. Served well chilled, it pairs well with appetizers, starters, fish dishes, vegetarian dishes, white and red meats, and fresh or medium-aged cheeses.
Think of penne with salmon, cacio e pepe, barley with zucchini, cashew chicken, or a beautiful burrata with Abruzzo “beefsteak” tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil.
